We are committed to empowering vulnerable communities by linking women and youth to economic opportunities through environmentally friendly interventions. By fostering community-led solutions, we create lasting impacts where economic prosperity goes hand in hand with environmental preservation.

About OUR ORGANIZATION

Improve and sustain the environmental protection for economic empowerment.
We are a locally registered organization in Rwanda, established in 2022 with a mission to improve and sustain environmental protection while empowering vulnerable sections of society, particularly youth and women. Through strategic interventions and impactful programs, we bridge the gap between environmental sustainability and economic empowerment, ensuring that vulnerable communities can thrive in harmony with nature.

Restoring nature, Restoring Lives

NCF is concerned with the ability or lack there of to save our environment by the communities, it works to ensure the relationship of humans with the environment are sustained creating a harmonious environment for people to thrive.

  • Water conservation and rainwater harvesting systems installation
NCF implements restorative approaches to improve our very own existence while simultaneously conserving vital resources that may take hundreds (or even thousands) of years to restore once they have become depleted. These efforts are community-driven.

Addressing the intersection of gender and climate change

The differentiated impacts of climate change on men and women are closely linked to factors leading to gender inequalities and violence. Impacts such as division of labor, domestic responsibilities, control and access to economic resources result from scarcity thereof.

When women have rights to productive economic resources such as land, natural resources and biodiversity, access to food, energy, water and sanitation, their well-being steer equalities that lead to wholesome robust health for all.

Equipping women and youth with knowledge and skills to break the cycle of poverty

NCF works alongside other organizations to train and equip communities with knowledge to improve their livelihoods from poverty to economic prosperity particularly women who shoulder the impacts of environmental degradation impacts.

  • Renewable energy skills training, including solar panel installation and maintenance

Empowering communities from within

NCF program approaches are community led, communities are at its core programs reaching them with diversified messages to empower them economically and through other interventions relating to conservation efforts geared at development and protection of the environment, fostering unity through recreational efforts and opportunities for growth and support.
